- Tuesday, January 28 @ 5:30PM: Andrew McWilliams will present an Avalanche Awareness talk at the Keystone Science School.
- Thursday, January 30 @ 6:00PM – 7:30PM: Brian Lazar will give a State of the Snowpack update at Mountain Rescue Aspen. This free event will provide the latest insights into current avalanche risks and snow conditions. Perfect for both seasoned backcountry skiers and those new to ski touring.
- Saturday, February 1 @ 6:30PM: Jason Konigsberg will present a snowpack update at the Bud Werner Memorial Library Hall in Steamboat Springs. This community event will include a snowpack update from a CAIC forecaster and presentations from Avalanche Savvy, Local Search and Rescue, Steamboat Powdercats, and more! All winter backcountry enthusiasts and recreationists are invited! Suggested $10 donations at the door. Members of Friends of CAIC receive free entry and 1 door prize ticket.
- February 7 – February 9: The CSA Convention will feature Avalanche Awareness sessions, including motorized-specific topics.
- Wednesday, February 12 @ 6PM: Jason Konigsberg will discuss Current Conditions and "How to Get the Forecast" at the Winter Wildlands Backcountry Film Festival, sponsored by Colorado Mountain Club, Cloud City Wheelers, and Sawatch Outliers.
- Thursday, February 20 @ 6PM: Chris Dickson will give a State of the Snowpack presentation at the Wilkinson Public Library.
- Thursday, February 20 @ 6PM: Mike Cooperstein will present Avalanche Aware presentation at evo Denver. RSVP here.
- Friday, February 21 @ 6PM: CAIC’s Brandon Levy will present Avalanche Awareness: Motorized Safety Basics at Teddy Morse’s Grand Junction Powersports. Spots are limited—please call 970-245-0812 to RSVP.
- Thursday, February 27 @ 6PM: Dylan Craaybeek will present a State of the Snowpack talk at Cripple Creek Backcountry in Carbondale.
