Report Information
Observation Summary
Overcast with S1-S2 snowfall until early afternoon and calm winds. HS around 30-35cm at lower elevations traveled on and depth increased with elevation up to around 10,600ft to an HS of around 60-65cm and then decreased again near top the ridge at 11,800ft. Mostly soft surface conditions but noticed a 1-2cm sun crust on some steeper and more open slopes with roughly 10cm of new snow on top. Elsewhere it was not present and snowpack had no concerning density change throughout. No noticeable instabilities until we stepped near wind loaded ridgelines where we encountered minor collapsing.
