Weather

Cloudy with steady moderate to heavy snowfall Friday turning light in the afternoon before a short heavy period after dark. Then scattered light snow overnight becoming steady around 6 a.m.. Currently overcast with light snow and thankfully no wind as so far the storm has been enjoying the lack of that unwelcome guest that seems to bully its way into our lives. The 24 hours snowe total was 15½" New with water a bit lighter than yesterday with 1.10 inches (still dense). The snowpack is at winters deepest of 58½". Total snow so far in a day and a half is 30" with water content 2.35". Little temperature movement though it did pop up briefly yesterday to 27F and dipped this morning to 11F before snow started back. The current is 16F. No visibility but i have heard slides run though with the cloud cover that is not a good indicator as little ones nearby may sound larger and bigger further away ones get muffled.
